The Critical Care Float Pool RN supports staffing needs across units while maintaining excellence in patient care, safety, and collaboration./ppstrongRegistered Nurse Responsibilities:/strong/pulliDelivers direct patient care to critically ill and high-acuity patients in the Emergency Department, ICU and CCU./liliPerforms comprehensive patient assessments and develops, implements, and evaluates individualized care plans./liliMonitors patient conditions, interprets vital signs and diagnostic data, and responds appropriately to changes in status./liliAdministers medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with hospital policies and evidence-based practices./liliCoordinates a patient-focused team in providing direct and collaborative health care in a variety of clinical settings designed to promote and restore optimal health across the life span./liliUtilizes all components of the nursing process in providing care that reflects an understanding of individual cultural and religious diversities and needs, and recognition of patient rights./liliUtilizes knowledge and expertise in case management to provide comprehensive, coordinated, seamless care to individuals and aggregate groups./liliCoordinates, integrates and facilitates the patient/provider relationship./liliFloats between units based on patient care needs and staffing requirements./li/ulpstrongQualifications:/strong/pulliGraduate of an accredited school of nursing required./liliBachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred./liliCurrent New York State RN License required./liliBLS, ACLS, and PALS required./liliMinimum 2 years nursing experience in an acute care setting preferred./liliANA certification or certification from appropriate agency in specialty preferred./liliAbility to operate all equipment and EMR systems found in care center as necessary to perform all prescribed duties./liliAbility to handle information with strict confidentiality./liliExcellent written and verbal communication skills./li/ulh2Posted Salary Range/h2pUSD $55.13 - USD $64.36 /Hr./ppThis range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidates qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
