Job Opportunity: Full-Time Gastroenterologist

Our organization is actively seeking a dedicated Gastroenterologist to join our esteemed Division of Gastroenterology. While a focus on General GI is preferred, we welcome candidates with additional specialized skills.

• Primarily engage in outpatient clinical duties, with responsibilities evenly split between clinic work and endoscopy at both the hospital and ambulatory surgery center.
• Actively participate in the education of fellows, residents, and students.
• Receive mentorship and dedicated time for professional development.

The Division comprises 18 physicians and 4 advanced practice providers, specializing in areas such as therapeutic endoscopy, hepatology, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), motility, and genetics.

This role will primarily be based at the University location, where you will have the opportunity to teach fellows and residents. Our faculty includes nationally recognized experts in hepatology, therapeutic endoscopy, and IBD, fostering a collegial environment focused on patient care and education.

Faculty members in the Department of Medicine are encouraged to pursue academic interests through teaching and research, as well as provide care to underserved populations through partnerships with local health systems. The starting base compensation for this position ranges from $450,000 to $525,000, adjusted based on experience and faculty rank. This figure does not include variable compensation or additional productivity incentives and is subject to departmental compensation plans. Further details regarding compensation will be discussed during the recruitment process.
