Product Support Sales Rep (PSSR)

Summary Dobbs Equipment is seeking an experienced Product Support Sales Rep (PSSR). The candidate must be a visible, active, and recognized customer‑support leader in the assigned area of responsibility (AOR), aggressively pursuing product support business opportunities with both existing and new customers to achieve monthly product‑support revenue and profitability objectives. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Ensure compliance with Dobbs Equipment Health and Safety Policies and Procedures, including state/federal legislation. Call on all customers (current and new) in the assigned territory to maximize product‑support revenue. Maintain an up‑to‑date Dobbs Equipment database, including customer unit fleet details. Monitor local customer and competitive trends and recommend strategies to enhance product‑support revenues and profitability. Ensure customer satisfaction, promptly addressing disputes in accordance with company policies. Staff the parts counter as scheduled and encourage routine parts orders via the counter. Control expenses while performing job functions. Develop the Dobbs Customer Portal by educating and training customers. Assist in the collection of accounts receivables when required. Adhere to Dobbs Equipment and client safety policies. Key Competencies Sell shop and field labor jobs to Deere and All‑Makes customers. Promote Preventative Maintenance Agreements. Provide undercarriage and ground‑engaging tools. Execute strategic parts promotions outlined in the Dobbs Equipment Calendar. Performance Measurement Branch Service Share Actual to Target Parts and Labor Revenue New Product Support Customer Revenue JDLink Renewal Percentage PM Agreement Service Completion Undercarriage Revenue Attachment Sales Revenue Ground Engaging Tools Revenue Complete PSSR training as assigned on JDU. Continuously complete available courses to stay current in the industry. Qualifications Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Customer service experience. Education, Skills, and Experience Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a four‑year college, or a minimum of three years related experience. Effective written and verbal communication with teammates and customers. Strong problem‑solving skills. Self‑management and self‑motivation. Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel and Outlook. Ability to interpret written, oral, or diagram instructions. Basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division). Quick learner, able to think creatively. Extensive driving and overnight travel required. Bilingual a plus. Work Environment The job involves occasional exposure to wet/humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, and outdoor weather. The noise level is typically quiet. Physical Demands Regular standing, handling, reaching, and talking. Frequent walking, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Occasional sitting. Regular lifting of up to 50 pounds and occasional lifting up to 100 pounds. Close and color vision required.
