Manager - Taxation - CA VBeyond Corporation

Key Responsibilities: 1. Tax Compliance: Preparation and submission of responses to notices/enquiries issued by the direct and indirect tax requirements (e.g., Income Tax, GST/VAT, Withholding Tax, etc.) Ensure timely and accurate compliance with all direct and indirect tax. Review tax returns, statements, reconciliations, and statutory filings. Oversee tax accounting, tax provisions, and disclosures in financial statements. Monitor changes in Tax laws and regulations and assess their impact on the business. 2. Tax Litigation & Controversy Management: Manage tax assessments, audits, inspections, and investigations by tax authorities. Prepare and review responses to tax notices, queries, and show-cause notices. Coordinate with external tax consultants, legal counsel, and authorities for appeals and litigation. Maintain litigation trackers and assess potential financial and operational exposure. 3. Tax Risk Management: Identify, evaluate, and mitigate tax risks across business operations. Develop and implement internal tax controls and governance frameworks. 4. Tax Advisory: Provide tax advisory support to business, finance, and operational teams. Advise on tax implications of transactions, contracts, restructuring, and new business initiatives. Support cross-functional teams on tax-efficient decision-making. Act as a trusted advisor to senior management on tax matters. 5. Tax Strategy: Develop and implement tax strategies aligned with business goals and regulatory requirements. Drive long-term tax efficiency while ensuring compliance and risk management. 6. Stakeholder & Team Management: Manage and mentor junior tax team members.
