Travel Registered Nurse (RN) PACU

Nursing - PACU

Schedule: 8- or 10-hour shifts with varied hours: examples include start times at 0800, 0830, 0930, 1130. On-call hours: Typically 2-3 calls over a 4-week schedule which may include the weekend. Weekday shifts: 2000 - 0645. Saturday shifts: 07 - 0700. Weekend shifts: Friday 2000 - 0700 / Sunday 07 - 0645.

Contract Length: 10-12 weeks. Guaranteed Hours: Not specified.

Requirements: Active nursing license. Experience in PACU or similar specialty preferred.

Roles and Responsibilities: Provide post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from surgical procedures. Monitor patients' vital signs and manage pain control. Assess patients' progress and document responses to interventions. Communicate effectively with surgical teams and provide updates on patient status. Ensure safe patient transitions from PACU to inpatient units or discharge.

Compliance / Notes: Additional requirements may include background checks and drug screens. Specific dress code and logistics will be determined by the facility.
