This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

12-hour varied shifts, including weekends and holidays as scheduled.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the NICU will be responsible for the assessment, medication administration, and overall care of neonates in a Level IV NICU setting. This role requires skills in patient care including care for micro preemies, surgical cases, and conditions such as BPD and NAS. Experience with advanced equipment and monitoring is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assessment and monitoring of neonates.
• Administration of medications and IV therapies.
• Feeding and ventilatory support, including care for CPAP patients.
• Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2+ years of experience in a Level 3 NICU or higher.
• Current BLS and NRP certifications required; ACLS and PALS preferred.
• Active RN license.
• Experience with EPIC electronic charting is preferred.
