Job Summary
Emergency Room Nurse Dubuque, Iowa. This position involves providing urgent and emergency patient care in a busy emergency department setting. The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality clinical services, adhering to hospital policies, and ensuring patient safety during night shifts.

Job Details

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Emergency Department experience of 24 months or more; active Iowa (IA) or multistate license; American Heart Association (AHA) or ARC/Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification; NIH Stroke Scale certification; Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC); 24 months of current Emergency Room experience; successful background/hospital reference check; valid drivers license.
• Preferred Qualifications: EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) experience.
• Additional Information: Orientation scheduled for 7/27 and 8/3. Candidate must have drip/titrate experience, including cardiac drips, insulin, heparin, and all types of critical care/emergency medicine drips. Skills checklist specific to Emergency Room discipline required. Certification in NIH Stroke Scale required.
• Holiday Policy: Willingness to work 1-2 of the 3 upcoming summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day).
• Rate: $88 per hour.
• On-Call: Not required.
• Weekend Schedule: Every 3rd weekend.
