About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their mission-driven, multi-site healthcare organization. The CFO will be a hands-on finance leader responsible for overseeing a wide range of financial activities, including accounting, billing, revenue cycle, payroll, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, KPIs, and overall financial operations. This role is pivotal in leading the financial team, preparing and presenting financial statements, and partnering with the CEO and Board of Directors on strategic financial decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with a preference for those with experience in healthcare or nonprofit settings, and a proven ability to improve processes and enhance revenue cycle visibility. Applicants for the CFO position at the company should hold a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, with 5-8 years' of progressive experience in the field. Supervisory or team leadership experience is required, and a background in healthcare, nonprofit, or multi-location financial operations is strongly preferred. The role demands a professional with a solid understanding of budgeting, forecasting, KPI analysis, and financial reporting, and a CPA, CMA, CFA, or master’s degree is a plus. The successful candidate will have strong Excel, systems, reporting, and analytical skills, and the ability to lead teams, improve processes, and work closely with executive leadership. A stable work history and the ability to create and enhance workflows, SOPs, dashboards, and internal controls are also key qualifications for this position.
