Location: Kinston, NC
Schedule: Monday to Friday (All Shifts)
Pay Rate: $15.91 per hour

Available Shifts:

• 2nd Shift: 4:00 pm – 12:00 am
• 3rd Shift: 12:00 am – 8:00 am

Position Overview:
Kelly Services is seeking dependable and motivated Packer & Labeler Associates for opportunities in Kinston, NC. In this essential role, you will be responsible for packing and labeling cartons, cups, and lids according to company standards, ensuring all products meet rigorous quality requirements. Your efforts will contribute directly to production efficiency and help maintain a safe, organized workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pack sleeves of cartons, cups, and lids into cases, bags, or trays as necessary
• Inspect products for defects and promptly report any quality concerns
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Perform additional production tasks as assigned by supervisory staff

Qualifications:

• Ability to accurately add and subtract four-digit numbers
• Basic mechanical knowledge of production machinery; able to halt machines or clear jams if required
• Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English
• Capable of following detailed instructions and making routine decisions regarding product quality
• Excellent hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, and the ability to distinguish colors

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for the duration of the shift
• Frequent light lifting up to 10 lbs.; occasional lifting or pushing up to 40 lbs.
• Repetitive use of hands, fingers, and wrists
• Ability to climb a single step to access machine feeder platforms

Work Environment:

• Exposure to noise levels above 85 dB
• Presence of paper dust in the work area
• Working near moving machinery and lift trucks
• Possible exposure to chemicals (including toluene, ethyl acetate, and various alcohols)
• Subject to ambient temperature extremes, particularly hot and humid conditions

Required Personal Protective Equipment:

• Steel-toed safety shoes
• Hearing protection
• Eye protection
• Hair/beard net
• Bump cap
• Safety vest
