Travel RN - PICU - Night Shift - Wichita, KS
Location: Wichita, KS
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: Night Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM
Job Description: Join our dedicated team in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at a Level II Trauma facility. We provide critical care to children with a wide range of medical needs. The ideal candidate will work well under pressure in a teaching hospital environment and prioritize patient care.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients in a critical care setting.
- Perform IV starts, blood draws, and TPT placements.
- Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes effectively.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including intensivists and respiratory therapists.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital experience in a PICU setting.
- BLS and PALS certification required.
- CRRT experience and APHON Pediatric Teaching Hospital experience preferred.
