Director of Community & Catering

Chick-fil-A | Cincinnati, OH Full-time | $26.00–$28.50/hour (approx. $70,000/year) | Closed Sundays

You'll be our face across Clifton, Over-the-Rhine, and Downtown and the person inside our building making sure working here feels like more than a job.

What you'll own

Community engagement

• Build relationships with neighborhood businesses, hospitals, churches, schools, and nonprofits across Clifton, OTR, and Downtown
• Plan and run Spirit Nights, fundraisers, sponsorships, and events end to end
• Own our local social media - real photos of real people, not stock images

Catering growth

• Own catering from lead to delivery: prospecting, quoting, scheduling, follow-up
• Build recurring accounts with downtown offices, medical campuses, and event venues
• Coordinate with kitchen and delivery so every order lands accurate and on time

Team culture and internal marketing

• Tell the story of what it's like to work here to candidates, to new hires, and to the team we already have
• Build recruiting pipelines through nearby campuses, high schools, and job fairs
• Run recognition programs, team events, and milestone celebrations
• Partner with leadership on retention: know why people stay, why they leave, and act on it

What we're looking for

You don't need a marketing degree or ten years of experience. You need to be someone people trust and someone who follows through.

• You like people, and you're comfortable starting a conversation with a stranger
• You follow up; three times if that's what it takes
• You write clearly; your emails, posts, and proposals will represent our brand
• You can juggle a dozen open threads and drop none of them
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Available for evening and Saturday events.
• Experience that counts, even if it was never a job title: running a PTA event, coordinating a church fundraiser, managing volunteers, retail or restaurant work, sales of any kind, teaching, tutoring, recruiting, or planning anything with a lot of moving parts. 

A background in Clifton, OTR, or Downtown is a plus. So is catering or B2B sales experience, but neither is required.

Pay and schedule

• $26.00–$28.50 per hour based on experience; approximately 45 hours per week, overtime paid at time-and-a-half
• Closed Sundays. Always.
