ROLE SUMMARY

We’re hiring an inbound and outbound Sales Representative to drive growth across two related power businesses, split evenly: 50% for Electrical Trader and 50% for Asher Power. The two share a customer universe — electrical contractors, industrial facilities, and utilities — so insight and relationships built on one side often create opportunities on the other. The role pairs strong selling fundamentals with genuine fluency in modern AI tools. You’ll use AI to research accounts, build and enrich prospect lists, personalize outreach at scale, qualify and route leads, draft quotes and proposal follow‑ups, and keep the CRM clean — so you spend more time in real sales conversations and less on busywork. We want someone already comfortable with AI tools and eager to push them further.

PART 1 — ELECTRICAL TRADER (20 HRS/WEEK, 50%)

Electrical Trader is an online marketplace where electrical contractors, distributors, and resellers list, buy, and sell surplus electrical equipment. Core Responsibilities Sell memberships across all three tiers: Basic ($19.99, 5 listings) , Plus ($99.99, 20 listings) , and Pro ($499.99, unlimited listings) . Commission is earned on Plus and Pro. Own inbound leads generated by marketing — respond fast, qualify, and convert. Run outbound prospecting to regional suppliers, distributors, and resellers. Maintain accurate, up-to-date CRM records in HubSpot. Surface feedback on market trends, pricing, and customer needs to leadership. AI Tools & Productivity Use AI to research accounts and build/enrich targeted prospect lists before outreach. Draft and personalize outbound emails, call scripts, and follow‑up sequences with AI — keeping a human voice. Triage and summarize inbound leads with AI to prioritize the highest‑intent opportunities. Automate CRM updates, call notes, and follow‑up reminders with AI‑assisted workflows. PART 2 — ASHER POWER (20 HRS/WEEK, 50%)

Asher Power is a young, high‑growth startup providing specialized electrical equipment (including Low, Medium, and High Voltage components) and engineering consulting services to commercial, industrial, and renewable energy clients. We’re looking for like‑minded entrepreneurs who thrive in a fast‑paced environment and are excited to help build our company culture and scale our success. Core Responsibilities Book of Business Growth: Proactively identify opportunities to expand relationships and maximize revenue within existing accounts, particularly through the sale of switchgear, transformers, breakers, and related power system components. Account Support: Directly assist Account Managers with quote fulfillment, pipeline tracking, and managing day‑to‑day client sales needs related to electrical equipment specifications and delivery. Sales Execution: Efficiently manage customer inquiries, provide pricing, and ensure seamless communication across internal teams (Engineering, Procurement) regarding equipment lead times and technical requirements. Proposal Development: Prepare professional RFQ/bid packages and contract summaries for client delivery, accurately reflecting the scope of electrical products and services being offered. CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of all activities and forecasts in HubSpot. AI Tools & Productivity Enrich accounts and personalize outreach to buyers and sellers (plant/maintenance/reliability engineers, equipment suppliers). Draft proposal follow‑ups, summarize scopes, and prep call briefs with AI. Apply the same AI‑driven prospecting and CRM workflows used for Electrical Trader. Compensation — Asher Power Commission structure: 12% commission of gross profit on all equipment sales for your accounts OTE expectations (20 hrs/week ≈ 50% allocation): Target: $1MM in sales @ 15% profit margin ≈ $150K gross profit → approx. $20,000 commission Note: Asher Power sells project and service work (not subscriptions), so deals are larger and cycles longer.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

2+ years of B2B sales experience (subscription/marketplace and/or industrial services a strong plus). Proven ability in both outbound prospecting and inbound lead conversion. Demonstrated fluency with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, AI prospecting/enrichment, AI writing assistants) and eagerness to adopt new ones. Comfort working day‑to‑day in a CRM (HubSpot experience preferred). Excellent written and verbal communication — able to personalize at scale without sounding templated. Self‑directed, organized, and accountable; thrives in a remote environment. Bonus: familiarity with electrical equipment, power services, or industrial/utility markets.
