Job DetailsJob Location: Museum - COLORADO SPRINGS, CO 80903Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 Salary/yearJob Shift: Day SUMMARY The Manager, Annual Giving is responsible for the development, execution, and ongoing growth of the Museum’s annual giving program, with a focus on donor acquisition, retention, and increased annual giving revenue. This role will lead the development and execution of integrated annual giving campaigns across online and offline channels, while establishing and growing an annual giving society to deepen donor engagement and create a pipeline for future philanthropic support. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Annual Giving Program Development & Management Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive annual giving program designed to acquire, retain, and upgrade donors, with the goal of growing annual giving revenue to $350,000 annually within five years. Establish strategies and goals for each Develop and manage an annual fundraising calendar incorporating online and offline giving opportunities, appeals, campaigns, and donor communications Develop and implement segmented donor strategies based on giving history, engagement, interests, and other relevant data Monitor annual giving performance and make data-informed recommendations to optimize revenue and donor engagement Partner with Marketing & Communications to develop compelling fundraising messaging and creative across email, direct mail, social media, website, and other channels Ensure a consistent, compelling, and donor-centered experience across all annual giving touchpoints Assist with annual giving budgeting, revenue forecasting, reconciliation, and performance analysis Establish and monitor key performance indicators to evaluate the effectiveness of the annual giving program Portfolio & Campaign Management Manage defined pipeline of new and retained donors through meaningful interactions and execution of appropriate relationship building steps to increase philanthropic revenue and identify and develop major donor targets. Actively identify top relationships within portfolio to strategically align moves management plans to grow giving to donor’s highest capacity. Engage with donors in a variety of ways to identify specific donor interests and deepen their connection to the organization. This includes but is not limited to reaching donor phone call and meeting goals. Leverage national donor cultivation and stewardship opportunities to increase meaningful donor interactions and stewardship plans. Lead the planning, development, and execution of the Museum’s end-of-year campaign, including strategy, goals, messaging, segmentation, creative, production, deployment, and reporting Develop and execute additional annual and community giving campaigns and appeals throughout the year based on organizational priorities and fundraising opportunities Analyze campaign results to benchmarks and provide recommendations to improve future fundraising performance Annual Giving Society Lead the creation, launch, and ongoing management of the Museum’s annual giving society Develop the giving society’s purpose, giving levels, benefits, recognition opportunities, communications, and donor value proposition Develop and execute targeted communications and engagement opportunities that strengthen donor loyalty and encourage increased giving Online Giving & Fundraising Technology Support the implementation, launch, and ongoing optimization of the Museum’s online giving software Identify opportunities to improve the online donor experience, conversion rates, recurring giving, and overall digital fundraising performance Monitor online giving performance and recommend enhancements based on data, donor behavior, and industry best practices Collaborate with Development Operations and other internal teams to ensure accurate data flow and integration between online giving platforms and CRM Other Duties as Assigned Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency, data quality, donor experience, and scalability across the Development team Stay current on annual giving, digital fundraising, direct response, and donor engagement trends and best practices Assist in executing broader Development and fundraising initiatives as directed by leadership Build strong working relationships across Development, Marketing & Communications, Technology, Finance, and other departments Adapt to evolving organizational needs and contribute to other projects that support the Museum’s mission QualificationsEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Nonprofit Management, Communications, or a related field preferred or professional experience and skill to be successful in a managerial position in growing function within a sophisticated organization Minimum of three (3) years of experience in annual giving, individual giving, direct response fundraising, digital fundraising, or a related nonprofit fundraising discipline Demonstrated experience developing and executing annual giving campaigns and strategies Experience with both online and offline fundraising channels, including email, direct mail, website giving, and digital fundraising Experience working with CRM systems; Salesforce experience strongly preferred Experience with online donation platforms and fundraising technology preferred Experience with donor segmentation, campaign reporting, and performance analysis preferred SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS Strong understanding of annual giving principles, including donor acquisition, retention, upgrade, and recurring giving strategies Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns, projects, timelines, and stakeholders simultaneously Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable fundraising strategies Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with the ability to develop compelling donor-facing content Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external vendors Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage projects from concept through execution Professional demeanor and ability to work with donors, executives, volunteers, and internal stakeholders Passion for the mission of the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Museum PHYSICAL/MENTAL/ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS Ability to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays Ability to travel occasionally Ability to operate standard office equipment Ability to move around the Museum and occasionally lift up to 35 lbs WORK CULTURE & EQUAL OPPORTUNITY The USOPM fosters a culture of collaboration, collegiality, and teamwork.
