Learn more about our team and our mission here.About the role:Tapestry is looking for a Technical Program Manager to drive the execution and efficiency of how our Software Engineering, Product, Power System Experts, and cross functional teams work together in preparing our product development and commercialization.This role will support the day-to-day progress of our software development, align both internal and external product priorities, and proactively identify and solve problems to guide the team through the dynamic phases of product development.. This is an incredibly dynamic role and requires high cross-functional communication, organization, and planning. They are accountable for the successful implementation of TPM processes, tracking progress against product and project goals, and driving velocity, efficiency, and teamwork without burning out stakeholders. You will work across AI, energy systems, and product teams to deliver foundational capabilities for the mission.How you will make 10X ImpactProgram Leadership and Strategic ExecutionDrive Velocity and Teamwork: Foster a high-performance culture that balances workload, optimizes engineering sprints, and maximizes team efficiency and collaboration.Goal Setting and Tracking: Partner with leadership to establish clear project goals, map out workstreams, and carefully track progress against a "high-bar" delivery plan.Milestone Ownership: Manage internal operations and cross-functional coordination to ensure the team consistently hits product release schedules and critical milestones.Translate Customer Impact: Deeply understand customer and commercial priorities, translating them into engineering impact to provide realistic input on timelines and technical feasibility.Process, Alignment and OwnershipAgile Facilitation: Lead and optimize core agile ceremonies; facilitate stand-ups, retrospectives, and cross-functional syncs to ensure continuous alignment.Sprint Planning and Backlog Management: Lead sprint planning sessions, structure meetings, and organize bugs/feature requests into a prioritized product backlog.Cross-Functional Alignment: Work closely with Engineering, Product and PSE teams to align with product and project priorities and remove blockers.Process Implementation: Responsible for the successful implementation of TPM processes within Tapestry’s cross-functional teams.Risk Mitigation and Navigating AmbiguityRisk Mitigation: Identify and escalate risks early, drive decision-making, and ensure the team remains focused on the highest-priority development tasks.Proactive Problem Solving: Proactively identify operational bottlenecks and create programs and processes to solve them.Ambiguity Resolution: In the absence of a clear path, the TPM must deal with ambiguity by creating the path, defining the resource map, and setting the strategy to address the challenge.Stakeholder Expectation Management: Guide the team through the learning and changes inherent in early product development, ensuring stakeholders have visibility into progress and potential shifts.What you should have…B.S. in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related disciplineAt least 5 years of project/program management or product development experience.Experience driving a program from prototype to maturity at an enterprise scale.Communicate with clarity and purpose, especially when navigating technical or strategic ambiguity.Track record of successful implementation of TPM processes in engineering organizations.Navigate complexity with calm, structured reasoning and a focus on radical simplification.Hold a high bar for craftsmanship and care deeply about the quality of your work.Enjoy collaborating with experts across disciplines to drive towards a shared mission.Feel motivated by real-world impact and the opportunity to build something transformative.It’d be great if you also had one or more of these:Masters degree in engineering disciplines, or equivalent practical experienceExperience working on, or passion for, the energy sector or sustainabilityDemonstrated ability to influence without authority, working with technical and cross-functional teams who do not report into this role to get things doneTrack record of delivering scalable solutions to complex software problemsExperience in startup or high-growth environmentsTapestry ValuesTake charge: We take initiative and own outcomes that move the mission forward.Transform with purpose: We build solutions that solve real problems and create meaningful impact.Be a Tapestry, not a thread: We collaborate across diverse skills and perspectives to achieve more than we can individually.Always fine-tune: We stay curious, seek feedback, and refine our understanding as we learn.Stay grounded: We listen openly, value different perspectives, and stay focused on what matters most.What we offer:A culture that supports growth, ownership, and meaningful impact, along with…Competitive salary and equityMedical, dental, and vision coverageGenerous PTO and flexible hybrid work model401(k) with employer contributionProfessional developmentThe ability to work on important real-world problems within an Alphabet-backed environmentThe US base salary range for this full-time position is $163,000 - $282,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.
