This travel assignment is for an outpatient pediatric speech-language pathology role with an emphasis on pediatric development, feeding, and AAC within a clinic setting that serves neonates through adolescents. The position requires non-local candidates and includes an 8-hour orientation plus pre-start training. The assignment may involve limited on-site shifts and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, including Social Services, within a Level II NICU-affiliated program. Parking is facility-paid.

Responsibilities
- Perform pediatric SLP assessments and evaluations for neonates through adolescents; develop and implement individualized treatment plans addressing speech, language, fluency, voice, and feeding/oral-motor skills
- Provide evidence-based therapy services, including augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), and support for autism and developmental delays; guide family education and home practice
- Document findings, treatment plans, progress notes, and coding in the electronic charting system; utilize standardized tools (e.g., PLS-4, CELF) and appropriate evaluation coding
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (including Social Services) to coordinate care, discharge planning, and caregiver education; participate in scheduling and clinic workflow
- Maintain patient and family education, set measurable goals, and track progress across age groups from neonates to adolescents
- Adhere to facility policies, participate in required orientation, and comply with pre-start module completion

Requirements
- 1 year of pediatric clinical experience (posting requirement); travel experience required; first-timers not accepted
- BLS certification required
- Ability to complete pre-start modules (average ~16 hours) prior to start
- Two professional references covering at least 1 year within the last 3 years; disclose any background or Nursys hits as applicable
- Not local; non-local candidates only; willingness to work in outpatient pediatric clinical setting and, if needed, float within the hospital or nearby sister sites per policy
- Availability to work 3 of 5 specified holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, NYE, New Year’s Day)
