How You'll Make An Impact In This Role

• Assess patients with respiratory conditions and develop individualized treatment plans based on physician orders, clinical findings, and evidence-based respiratory care practices.
• Administer respiratory therapies, medications, and advanced treatment modalities while monitoring patient response and adjusting care as appropriate.
• Monitor, document, and communicate changes in patient condition while collaborating with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary care team to deliver exceptional patient care.
• Respond to emergency situations, including rapid response and cardiopulmonary resuscitation events, providing critical respiratory support when needed.
• Maintain, calibrate, clean, and troubleshoot respiratory equipment while supporting inventory management and ensuring compliance with safety and infection prevention standards.

What Minimum Requirements You'll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Respiratory Therapist credentialed from the Florida Board of Respiratory Care obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
