Join the Sactown Vet Team as a Full-Time Kennel Assistant!

Location: Sacramento, CA | We are open Monday–Friday

Sactown Vet is seeking a dedicated Kennel Technician to join our compassionate, AAHA Certified, Fear Free Certified, and Cat Friendly Certified team! As a Kennel Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and comforting environment for our patients. Your responsibilities will include:

• Feeding and caring for hospitalized and drop off pets  

• Cleaning and disinfecting kennels, cages, and hospital areas

• Monitoring patients and reporting changes in behavior or condition

• Providing gentle handling and support in accordance with Fear Free practices

• Supporting the veterinary and technician team as needed

• Full-time: 4 ten-hour shifts, 40 hours/week (Monday–Friday)

• Location: Sacramento, CA
