As a Field Combustion Systems Specialist with Profire Energy (a CECO Environmental brand), you’ll be the trusted expert customers call to install, commission, maintain, and optimize burner management and combustion control systems. One day you’re completing a combustion analysis and warranty repair; the next, you’re coaching partners on troubleshooting techniques or collaborating with Sales on a complex proposal. A day in the life

• Partner with Sales on customer initiatives, deliver training, and support business development activities.
• Respond to technical requests with precise documentation (time tickets, combustion reports) and provide weekly updates on open orders.
• Become the go-to subject matter expert on Profire products through hands-on learning with managers, engineers, and peers.
• Deliver safe, accurate, and efficient service work, including:
  • Installations
  • Burner Maintenance
  • Combustion Analysis
  • Warranty & Repair
• Interface with customers professionally and provide responsive technical support—including after-hours/weekend call-outs when needed.
• Close the loop: complete service tickets and work orders accurately; support timely month-end closure and customer invoicing.
• Help drive profitable operations by ensuring technicians’ time is billed appropriately for installs, maintenance, and service calls.
• Coordinate closely with the Regional Sales Manager and Territory Sales Reps; participate in quoting, initial implementation, and service follow-up.
• Train installation partners on Profire installation standards, system operation, and troubleshooting; monitor technician inventories and parts lists.
• Conduct field evaluations of technician work to uphold brand standards; report sales referrals; and support the growth of our service team across the U.S. and Canada.

What you bring

• Proven field installation background with mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Technical degree/trade diploma or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Collaborative problem-solver who works well across departments.
• Willingness to travel; able to cross borders as needed.

Licensing: Valid Driver's License required.

Travel: Travel will be required, as necessary, to support the business; must have the ability to travel across borders.

Light Work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for Sedentary Work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for Light Work.

Incumbents may be subjected to moving mechanical parts, electrical currents, vibrations, fumes, odors, dusts, gases, poor ventilation, chemicals, oils, extreme temperatures, inadequate lighting, workspace restrictions, intense noises, and travel.
