Property Maintenance Technician

Property Maintenance Technician Job Type: Full-Time Job Summary We are seeking a dependable Property Maintenance Technician to handle routine repairs and general maintenance at rental properties. This position will also assist with preparing vacant units for new residents. Responsibilities Complete routine maintenance and repairs, including basic plumbing, electrical, drywall, doors, locks, and fixtures. Prepare vacant units for new residents, including painting, cleaning, and installing or replacing fixtures, blinds, and cabinets. Respond to maintenance requests and complete work orders in a timely manner. Perform general property upkeep and preventative maintenance. Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition. Report major repairs or issues requiring specialized or licensed contractors. Qualifications 6 months–1 year of general maintenance, handyman, or repair experience preferred. Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general building maintenance. Familiarity with hand and power tools. Ability to work independently and manage assigned tasks. Valid driver's license. Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical tasks including standing, bending, kneeling, climbing, and reaching for extended periods.
