Rate: $40/hour on W2 all inclusive.

We are looking for a driven Financial Reporting Analyst to. Qualified candidates should possess a good understanding of project/financial reporting, analytical thinking and problem solving. Candidates should be able to work independently and as a dedicated contributor to the team and be able to demonstrate flexibility while delivering clear results and meeting deadlines. The candidate should be a quick learner and be interested in continuous self-improvement including learning about the bank's processes such as software capitalization, firm financial structures, and new reporting tools. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining multiple large reporting packs and making updates according to changing needs and data. Candidates in this role will be expected to work closely with business managers across multiple departments to assist with queries related to the various reporting packs we produce and be able to research and explain details in large sets of data.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation, management, and improvement of monthly consolidated financial reporting packs
• Help compile and prepare standard and ad hoc financial reports and analysis
• Through internal research, familiarize oneself with multiple firm reporting tools and data which evolve on a regular basis
• Help maintain and manage data queries in various reporting systems which update regularly
• Help periodically improve and automate current reports
• Participate in ad hoc projects

Qualifications:

3 years Financial Reporting experience

Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills. Including VBA, Macros and Automation

Proficient financial reporting skills

Demonstrated success in developing, maintaining and supporting financial models

Ability to analyze and reconcile large sets of data

Willing to learn new reporting tools, processes, and data types. Self-motivated, with a sense of autonomy, initiative and responsibility

Team Player
