Central Sterile Technician

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day shift, 8-hour shifts from 06:30 to 15:00.

The Central Sterile Technician is responsible for the decontamination, packaging, sterilization, and delivery of instruments, materials, and equipment necessary for support of surgical services. This role works under the indirect supervision of the Director of Surgical Services and utilizes specific guidelines and standards for department operations. Responsibilities also include documentation of the sterilization process and ensuring equipment functionality.

• Decontamination of surgical instruments and materials.
• Packaging and sterilization of equipment.
• Delivery of sterilized instruments and materials to surgical services.
• Documentation of sterilization processes.
• Ensuring the functionality of sterilization equipment.

Must have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role along with prior travel experience. Only candidates with proven experience will be considered; local applicants will not be accepted.
