Job Title
Duties
Operates a passenger bus with an appropriate gross vehicle weight up to 30,000 pounds and with passenger capacity ranging from 44 to 72 students.
Assists in the loading and unloading of children with special needs and their equipment, as well as assisting these students in getting to and from their classrooms.
Responsible for the general cleaning of the bus to include cleaning inside of the bus daily.
Reports all disciplinary action to the school principal and the DOA.
Conducts maintenance and safety checks on the school bus prior to beginning all routes.
Records school bus route and schedule on the trip ticket.
Reports problems to the designated government representative (DOR).
