Emergency Room Nurse

Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients in a fast-paced ER environment. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely, safe, and effective patient treatment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions upon arrival and prioritize care based on acuity.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed.
• Recognize and respond to emergency situations, including critical ECG rhythm recognition.
• Document patient information accurately in the electronic health record system.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Ensure compliance with all licensure, certification, and facility requirements.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 18 months recent ER experience.
• Valid Ohio license or compact state license in hand.
• Active ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications.
• Epic experience required.
• One recent professional reference from a supervisor, manager, or director in the specialty.
• Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate assessments with acceptable scores.
