Job Title: Manager

Location: Skate City Sioux Falls - 2901 W. 3rd St. Sioux Falls, SD

Job Type: Full-Time (Exempt)

Salary Range: $4,500 monthly salary + benefits (increase to $5,000/month after 6 months)

Benefits: Two weeks paid time off, with medical, dental, and vision insurance plans offered.

Job Summary:

Skate City is seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to help oversee the daily business operations of our roller skating rink. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe, fun, and clean environment for our customers while maintaining high standards of service and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

·      Manage bookings and instruction of STEM school field trips.

·      Ensure the rink is clean, well-maintained, and compliant with safety regulations.

·      Oversee customer service operations, addressing any issues or complaints promptly and professionally. 

·      Support marketing teams to promote special events and skating programs offered. 

Preferred Qualifications:

·       Education:  Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Education, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).

·       Experience: 2+ years of experience in business management, sports administration, education, event planning, or program management.

·       Any combination of relevant education and experience will be considered.

Skills:

·      Highly motivated, with strong leadership and goal oriented outlook.

·      Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

·      Team oriented, with strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

·      Ability to resolve conflicts or issues in a prompt and professional manner.
