About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP of Operations for its construction division to lead the expansion into the Oklahoma City market. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full P&L, hiring, and business development in the OKC region. This role is pivotal as the company establishes its presence in a new state, and the ideal candidate will have deep roots in OKC, with a proven history of contacts and a strong network to leverage from day one. The VP of Operations will be tasked with breaking ground on new projects, building a local team, and ensuring the successful execution of projects in line with the company's standards and SOPs. The role demands a professional with over 10 years' experience in a GC environment, a confident user of Procore and other scheduling software, and a strong understanding of OKC building regulations and laws. Applicants for the VP of Operations role at the company should be prepared to take on a challenging yet rewarding position. The role requires a leader with extremely strong time management, stakeholder, and leadership skills, who is capable of overseeing end-to-end projects with a spend of $30M and above. The candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with the President, and the title is on par with a VP/SVP level role, indicating the seniority and importance of the position. The company is looking for a candidate who can not only manage the current projects but also has the vision and capability to grow the business in the new market.
