Registered Nurse (RN) - LDRP

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing comprehensive obstetrical care to patients during the antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases. The role involves utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and established policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment to ensure safe delivery of care.
• Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education and training.
• Delegate patient care priorities based on the education and experience of available staff.
• Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel in delivering patient care.
• Be flexible to float to other units as needed based on facility requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of prior travel nursing experience is required.
• Experience in Labor and Delivery, postpartum, nursery, and Mother/Baby is essential.
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NRP are required.
• PALS certification required but can be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• AWHONN certification is preferred and can be completed onsite.

Candidates must have secured housing within 50 miles of the facility prior to acceptance, and the address must be provided. Compliance with state licensing and health regulations is a requirement for placement.
