Key Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
• Provide direct patient care to support functional independence and rehabilitation goals
• Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
• Communicate effectively with the supervising OT and interdisciplinary team regarding patient status and plan of care updates

Required Qualifications

• Active Michigan LARA licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) required prior to start
• Current NBCOT certification
• Valid CPR/BLS certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience in a similar clinical or rehabilitation setting
• Strong documentation and communication skills
