Data Engineer

DescriptionKforce has a client in Irving, TX that is seeking a Data Engineer.Responsibilities:* Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and integration solutions to support business reporting, analytics, and operational needs* Build and manage data models, transformation processes, and data workflows across multiple systems and platforms* Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency through validation, monitoring, and troubleshooting activities* Support data governance, documentation, and process improvement initiatives* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver data solutions that meet business objectives* Assist with the implementation and optimization of data architecture, storage, and processing frameworks* Support data security, privacy, and compliance requirements across all data assets and workflows* Provide project updates, technical documentation, and status reporting to stakeholders and leadershipRequirements* 3+ years of experience in a data engineering, data integration, or related technical role required* Strong SQL skills and experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, Scala, or similar* Experience developing and maintaining data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and large-scale data environments* Knowledge of data warehousing, data modeling, and database technologies* Experience working with cloud-based data platforms and modern data processing tools preferred* Understanding of data quality, governance, and change management best practices* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills* Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environmentJob TypeContractCompensation45 - $51
