HousepersonThe Homewood Suites New Braunfels hotel is hiring for a positive, self driven, dependable hotel Houseperson to join the team! This position requires attention to detail, efficient cleaning ability, problem solving, multitasking, speed and organization. This is a position within a fast pace and team oriented workplace environment. This hotel position is an essential team member in assisting our hotel guests have the highest quality experience and representation while staying in our hotel facilities. Maintains the orderly and attractive conditions in the hotel. Promotes an atmosphere of cleanliness and superior customer care for hotel guests.Responsibilities:Clean hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and employee break room and other work areasAssisting room attendants on strip linens from check-out roomsAbide by the regulations set forth by the material safety data sheets when using chemicalsVacuum, sweep, dust, and clean rooms to hotel standardsRefurnish the room with supplies, towels etc.Take the initiative to greet guests in a friendly and warm mannerAssist with laundryAssist front desk and other departments with delivering guest amenitiesClean rooms as needed / be a back-up support for housekeepingQualifications:High school diploma or GED preferredPrevious housekeeping experience preferredAttention to detail and excellent communication skillsCreative thinker on problem solving, and responsible for the completion.Previous customer service experienceAvailable to work as early as 4am and as late as to 10 pm. Also weekends, and holidays.Schedule requirements: The best candidates will need to have flexible availability to work shifts that vary. This position includes working day shifts and night shifts that may be extended hours depending on company needs. This position also includes working weekends and holidays.Essential physical functions: Must be able to walk, stand and bend for extended periods of time.
