Travel RN - Telemetry

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiac Intervention Telemetry Unit position requiring ACLS certification and prior telemetry experience.

Job Details

• Work in a fast-paced, high-acuity 30-bed telemetry unit within a hospital setting,
• Specializes in pre- and post-cardiac procedure care including post heart cath, sheath management, electrophysiology interventions, post pacemaker/ICD implants, cardiac drip titrations, post cardiac ablations, and heart blocks/new dysrhythmia onset,
• 13-week assignment with 36-48 hour contracts,
• Night shift schedule from 18:45-07:15,
• Every other weekend required,

Job Requirements

• Active RN license (FL or Compact) currently in hand,
• Current BLS certification (AHA required) and ACLS certification,
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required,
• Prior telemetry or cardiac intervention unit experience required,
• Strong critical thinking, clinical skills, and teamwork abilities required,
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start,

Additional Information

• Provide specialized cardiac care to patients undergoing cardiac interventions and recovering from cardiac procedures,
• Work within a team-focused environment emphasizing seamless collaboration and precise clinical execution,
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address,
• Radius rule applies which may affect pay rate eligibility for local candidates,
• Recommended to begin discussing assignment extension with management approximately 45 days before end date
