Registered Nurse - Outpatient Infusion Center Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Outpatient Infusion Center, focused on delivering exceptional patient care in a comfortable and convenient setting. The ideal candidate will have expertise in intravenous therapy and experience in outpatient oncology. Responsibilities Administer intravenous (IV) medications, including antibiotics, antifungals, and steroids. Perform blood and blood product transfusions, and maintain central venous access devices. Provide hydration therapy and IV immune globulin therapy (IVIG). Educate patients on self-administration of medications and provide teaching for therapeutic phlebotomies. Manage specialty medications for various chronic conditions. Schedule This position offers flexible day shifts, with hours varying between 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Location New York Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure 2+ years of current experience in outpatient oncology and infusion. Chemotherapy Certificate (ONS) and Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) required. Experience with peripheral IV insertion, port/fistula/catheter management. IV Certification is highly preferred. EPIC experience is required. Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position.
