Job Title: Hemodialysis Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Hemodialysis Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hemodialysis RN experience required. License: Current RN license required. Certifications: BLS and ACLS required. Must-Have: - Acute hospital experience. - Medication proficiency. - Telemetry proficiency. - Experience with Tablo Hemodialysis System. - Ability to independently read telemetry strips. - Ability to pass telemetry exam on Day 1 with 84% or better. Description: The Hemodialysis Registered Nurse provides care that addresses the specific needs of patients across various age groups. Care is individualized to accommodate a range of needs, including impairments such as hearing and sight difficulties, substance abuse issues, language barriers, and potential victims of abuse. The nurse incorporates knowledge and understanding of patient rights and organizational mission, vision, and values into nursing practice. Excellent assessment, clinical, organizational skills, computer knowledge, and charge capabilities are essential. The nurse must be capable of lifting, transferring, and moving patients. Effective verbal and written communication skills in the English language are required. Ability to complete mathematical computations necessary for treatment protocols is essential.
