What You'll Do

• Provide high-quality emergent care to a diverse patient population in a small hospital setting
• Assist with patient assessments, interventions, and documentation in Cerner EMR
• Share ER and Med-Surg patient load among team members
• Collaborate with a supportive team including CNAs and other nurses
• Adapt to changing patient needs and crisis situations
• Follow all infection control and safety protocols, including mask use during flu season
• Maintain certification and licensing requirements, including NRP if applicable

What You Need

• Active RN license in Kansas
• BLS, ACLS, TNCC (must be through AHA) or class scheduled prior to shift start with receipt of registration
• ER and Med-Surg experience listed on work history
• Ability to work 2 days per week, including weekends in rotation

• NRP certification
• Experience in small hospital settings or similar environments
• Good communication skills and team-oriented attitude

About the Assignment Join a dedicated team at a critical care access facility that handles all patient units, including ER and Med-Surg. The hospital typically manages 35 IP patients per shift, with up to 8 during busier days, providing a unique opportunity for hands-on, versatile nursing care.
