Dircks Moving & Logistics is seeking a Forklift Operator who will be involved in interactions with our customers, operations, and customer support while ensuring we deliver the highest quality service to our customers.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Reads customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed.
• Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas
• Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to production workers.
• Assembles customer orders from racking and prepares orders for delivery out.
• Receives shipments into the warehouse
• Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
• Maintain warehouse free from trash and comply with safety and OSHA standards.
• Must wear uniforms acceptable to the Company.

Qualifications

Must possess and maintain a current forklift certification, if operating forklift at any time. If you do not have a current forklift certification, we can provide you training and certification on the job.

Education and/or experience: Less than high school education; or up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization in English.

Mathematical skills: Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
