Join us! As a Project Manager II, you will manage projects of moderate visibility and complexity, either overseeing multiple projects or one larger project. Under the supervision of a portfolio or program manager, you will ensure the successful completion of projects by assembling teams, assigning responsibilities, and managing resources. Responsibilities Manage multiple projects or a larger project, overseeing all phases from proposal development to project closeout. Assemble project teams, assign individual responsibilities, and identify appropriate resources. Develop, define, and execute project plans, schedules, budgets, and deliverables. Interface with internal and external customers or field-based employees on technical matters as needed. Communicate project status with senior project managers, functional area managers, or program managers. Track progress against milestones, budgetary guidelines, and other performance indicators. Prepare reports to keep stakeholders informed of project status. Ensure timely completion of projects by developing and adhering to schedules. Remain agile and flexible to adapt to frequent changes in project requirements or scope. Qualifications You Must Have Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field. 4+ years of experience in project management and/or in a related or technical field. Relevant experience can be considered as a substitute for the required educational qualifications. In the absence of a degree, a minimum of 8 years of related experience is required. Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software. Demonstrated experience in managing a complex project with multi-function team. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical skills & capability to meet schedules. Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Current Active Secret Security Clearance Qualifications We Prefer Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification. Experience managing projects requiring Earned Value Management. Experience with risk management planning and documentation. Experience managing project scope and scope creep during project execution. Experience in resource planning and management during project execution. Knowledge of Kaizen & Lean Manufacturing principles. Knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100 & CMMI process standards. Familiarity with government contracting and regulations. Essential Functions Ability to work at a computer for extended periods. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to travel as required. Capacity to work in a hybrid environment, balancing office and remote work. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. SNC offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
