The position is flexible between our Burlington and Boston, MA offices and hybrid work. At Stantec, we have a hybrid, flexible work schedule that meets both business and individual needs.Your Key ResponsibilitiesServe as Stantec’s Southern New England Structural Team Lead.Contribute to initiatives to help advance our project design, operations, and business developmentMaintain and enhance our reputation with clients, approval agencies and industry professionals as an outstanding service providerEstablish project objectives, procedures, and performance standardsLead multi-disciplinary teams on projects from positioning to proposals, planning studies, feasibility through final designs, and construction servicesRepresent Stantec and the project design team as a technical leaderIdentify appropriate resources and skill sets to achieve project objectives. Manage contract tasks, track, and manage costs and schedule, and implement measures necessary to stay on schedule and within budget.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyLead by example with active support of internal policies and practices, including risk management, project management, and quality managementGrow internal and external networks to enhance Stantec reputation and identify additional talent to join our teamDevelop client relationships to facilitate project activitiesEstablish, maintain, and promote partnerships in project pursuitsLeads, mentors, and develops team members through coaching, performance oversight, and ongoing professional growth support.Your Capabilities and CredentialsExperience with the role of deputy design manager, design manager, and or quality manager on mid to large scale projectsExperience leading the design and construction support of complex transportation projectsExperience developing, negotiating, and managing project scopes, schedules, and budgetsBusiness development experience requiredMarketing skills requiredAbility to lead, motivate, mentor, and develop a team of technical and professional staffAbility to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues in a dynamic and energetic environmentDesign-Build or other alterative project delivery experience preferred.Education and ExperienceBachelor’s degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering or related field. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.
