Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab/EP

Job Description

Job Summary:
Seek an experienced Cath Lab RN for a travel assignment in a busy Cardiac Cath Lab setting. The role involves providing specialized cardiac care, performing diagnostic and interventional procedures, and collaborating with a high-functioning team.

Responsibilities:

• Administer patient care during various cardiac procedures, including LHC, RHC, PCI, and device implantations.
• Scrub in and assist during catheterizations, pacemaker, and ICD placements, and cardioversions.
• Monitor patient vitals and response throughout procedures and post-care.
• Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with unit policies using Meditech EMR.
• Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and staff to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Adhere to safety protocols and participate in on-call duties as scheduled.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license with a minimum of 1-year current acute care hospital Cath Lab RN experience.
• Possess BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Demonstrate scrubbing experience in cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Have monitoring experience, preferred.
• Be flexible, positive, and engaged in providing high-quality patient care.
