Key Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for individual patients or an assigned patient group in accordance with established standards of care and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
• Coordinate patient care with other disciplines and departments
• Apply critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment in clinical decision-making
• Accurately document patient care and clinical information within the EMR system

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from AHA or ARC (ALS equivalent)
• Epic and Cerner EMR experience within the last 5 years
• Each position in work history must clearly indicate the charting system used; if multiple EMR systems were used in a single role, dates clarifying usage of each system must be provided
• Must have successfully completed at least one prior contract or held employment with an organization

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Prior acute care facility experience
