Job Summary
Vascular Access Nurse (IV Vascular Access) Willamette Falls, OR. This position involves providing expert vascular and peripherally inserted central catheter (PICC) intravenous therapy in a short-term acute care facility. The role includes floating between units based on departmental needs and requires seasoned travel experience with proficiency in EPIC charting systems.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education Requirements, and Experience: BLS certification, at least 1 year of travel experience, and current licensure in the appropriate state or a valid compact license.
• Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Responsibilities: Ensure proficiency in adult inpatient intravenous therapies, vascular access device placement, and management; perform procedures with sterile technique; educate patients and families; and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Submission Requirements: Candidates must include responses regarding prior experience at Providence facilities, listing specific locations and dates worked, and provide 2 references covering at least 1 year during the last 3 years.
