ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and compassionate ICU Nurse to join our dedicated team in providing exceptional care to critically ill patients. As an ICU Nurse, you will play a vital role in monitoring, assessing, and providing intensive care to patients requiring close monitoring and advanced medical interventions.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), including those on life support and ventilators.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians and in accordance with established protocols.
• Perform ongoing assessments of patient conditions and communicate any changes or concerns to the medical team.
• Implement and manage advanced life support techniques, including airway management, hemodynamic monitoring, and ventilator management.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
• Provide emotional support and educate patients and their families on their conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records and documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols, ensuring a clean and sterile environment for patients and staff.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in critical care practices and participate in continuous education and professional development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited institution.
• Valid and current nursing license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is required.
• Strong knowledge of critical care nursing principles, practices, and protocols.
• Excellent assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Proficiency in operating medical equipment and technology used in the ICU.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required.
