Job Description

Provides support to the Patient Accounts Manager. Supervises the patient billing, account collection, and cashiering functions of the hospital. Assists in ensuring that the policies, objectives and initiatives of Hammond-Henry’s billing and collection are effective. Actively participates in Hammond-Henry’s revenue cycle processes. Supervises the patient billing, account collection, and cashiering functions of the hospital. Assists in ensuring that the policies, objectives and initiatives of Hammond-Henry’s Provides for proper reporting procedures, record keeping, and consultations for billing and collection purposes. Assures prompt and courteous information. Works closely with the Patient Accounts Manager, Revenue Cycle Director, Information Technology Manager and customers.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business Administration or Accounting is preferred.

• Two to three years’ experience in a finance related area is required.
