Outpatient Physical Therapist - Short-Term Contract

Job Description

The Outpatient Physical Therapist will evaluate and develop treatment plans for assigned patients, integrating their needs, goals, and physician directives. The position involves comprehensive evaluations, treatment plan modifications, and delegation of therapy services. The Physical Therapist also serves as an educator to patients and their families, ensuring effective outpatient services within required safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Develop and modify treatment plans based on individual patient needs.
• Document patient progress and treatment plans in compliance with organizational policies.
• Ensure all services are provided under valid physician orders and within insurance approvals.
• Participate in student programs and provide supervision and evaluations.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through continuing education and self-study.
• Adhere to state practice acts and maintain licensure in good standing.
• Contribute to performance improvement initiatives.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience preferred.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Licensed Physical Therapist in the applicable state.

Schedule

This position is a full-time role with a 5x8.0 schedule, starting November 30th, and offers a month-long contract.
