Dishwasher PositionOur Dishwashers are a key part of our team, and critical to providing genuine hospitality. They are energetic, excited to grow in the hospitality industry and care about their team.Dishwashers are responsible for optimum cleanliness of the entire kitchen. This includes proper care of all dishware, cutlery, pots, and pans. The Dishwasher's job extends past the dish room by upkeep of all food prep areas, coolers, storage areas, and restrooms. You are responsible for working closely with the Chef team to establish a safe, sanitary environment for all staff and guests.Bottleneck Management operates vibrant, high-energy, approachable restaurants in the most dynamic neighborhoods and locations. Whether it's in our home office or our restaurants, we put hospitality first, like excellent hosts at a party.We offer a fun and supportive working environment, comprehensive benefits, EAP access, and restaurant dining discounts.Primary Responsibilities and Duties:Support kitchen operations by unloading deliveries to company standard with consideration to cooler and storage etiquetteResponsible for the breakdown of all boxes and proper placement of all suppliesDuties extend into general maintenance of the propertyMaintain dumpster areas and any outside areas surrounding restaurantSupport Chef team in all necessary capacityWash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and/or pans based on individual specific needsReplace clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment based on zones and station requirementsKnow and use proper chemicals with exact handling instructionUpkeep of all trashcans and linen bins with attention to detail and cleanliness of all cans (includes proper disposal)Upkeep of Dish machine and SanitizerUpkeep of all utility maintenance not limited to: Floor, wall, cooler, equipment, workstation, and employee restroomMaintain acceptable standards of personal hygiene and uniform standardsFollow safety regulations, reporting injuries or any unsafe and hazardous work conditions to ChefsKeep all chemicals in designated locationQualifications and Skills:Must exemplify a team player with a contagious positive attitudeEnjoys working in a fast paced, energy driven, kitchen environment with a focus on multi-tasking Must be able to take on a leadership role and accept feedback and coachingExecutes perfect company safety and sanitation standardsAlways presents a positive and professional attitude, especially during high stress situationsHours of Work: Ability to work a variable schedule, including weekends.Supervisory Responsibilities: N/AReports To: Executive ChefDepartment: HOH OperationsCompensation: Please visit our Careers Page to view and learn more about payratesWork Environment/Physical Demand:Must be able to stand for full shiftMust be able to lift at least 50 poundsMust have good hearing for accurate communication with guestsMust be able to use hands and fingers to handle and feel objects, tools controls and typeMust be able to work in areas of loud noisesRequired to frequently reach, bend, stoop, and carryMust be able to work in both warm and cool environments; indoors and outdoorsMust be able to tolerate potential exposure to allergens: peanut products, egg, dairy, gluten, soy, seafood, and shellfishExtended periods of standing and walking to different parts of the restaurant at different levelsFast paced hands on positionDining facilities are both outside and inside.
