Technician
Donatech
Position would require the candidate to be a W2 employee of Donatech. Must be able to understand and work from engineering drawings and sketches and be able to follow written and verbal work instructions. Be able and willing to work additional hours when required, including weekends. • Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive developmental assembly operations of electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies on ordnance systems • Performs a variety of duties assisting engineers in the development of mechanical, electrical and electro-mechanical engineering designs, tests, fabrications, modifications, assemblies and components.
Required skills include proficient use of electronic test equipment, electrical assembly tools and hand tools. Specific skills include: • Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings and sketches. • Precision and fine motor skills required for micro/nano scale fabrication, assembly, test with near zero defects. • Must be able to demonstrate high degree of mechanical aptitude and J-STD-001 or have knowledge of these requirements. • Conduct tests using electronics test equipment (ie. Scopes, meters, etc) and generate test report data. • Must demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills. • Maintain a safe work environment and ensures compliance with safety objectives and policies. • Must be able to up to 35 lb.
2-year technical degree or a Minimum of 2 years as a technician performing related tasks, either in a production or prototype environment.
