About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Rehabilitation Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1 year of Medical-Surgical experience required. Long-Term Acute Care or Skilled Nursing Facility experience accepted. License: Must hold a valid Registered Nurse license. Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Must-Have: Willingness to float between units. Ability to work every other weekend. Description: The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing care in a rehabilitation setting. Experience in medical-surgical nursing is required. Candidates with LTAC or SNF experience will be considered. Floating to other inpatient medical-surgical units is required. The patient-to-nurse ratio will typically be between 1:5 to 1:7. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. All candidates must have a BLS certification. Requests for block scheduling are not accommodated. Local candidates are accepted. Must comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies as required. The Registered Nurse will manage all aspects of tracheostomy care and management. Respiratory Therapy is available for support when needed. Candidates must have no license hits to be considered. Experience in a Level 1 Trauma setting is preferred.
