Director of Operations

Director of Operations Position Summary We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Director of Operations to serve as the owner's right-hand person and support the day-to-day operations of a small, close-knit business. This role will take ownership of administrative, customer service, scheduling, and office operations while helping ensure that daily priorities are handled efficiently. The ideal candidate is someone who takes initiative, works independently, has exceptional attention to detail, and is comfortable wearing multiple hats in a small business environment. Key Responsibilities Serve as the owner's primary operational and administrative support. Manage scheduling, paperwork, forms, banking, and day-to-day office operations. Handle customer service, client communications, and administrative requests. Support client reviews and ongoing client touchpoints. Assist with marketing activities and client engagement initiatives. Help coordinate birthday cards, communications, and other client relationship activities. Identify tasks and operational needs proactively and take ownership of getting them completed. Coordinate with the appointment setter, owner's family member, and remote administrative team members. Help keep the office organized and running smoothly. Provide general operational support across the business as needed. Required Qualifications Strong background in administration, executive assistance, office management, or business operations. Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail. Self-starter who takes initiative and can work independently with minimal direction. Outstanding customer service and communication skills. Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and responsibilities. Comfortable working in a small-business environment and wearing multiple hats. Comfortable working primarily onsite and closely alongside the owner. Preferred Qualifications Experience in insurance, financial services, wealth management, or banking. Series 6 and/or Series 63 licenses preferred but not required. Previous experience supporting a business owner or financial advisor. Experience working in a small, close-knit organization.
