Highlights include:31-bed Emergency Department4:1 nurse-to-patient ratio for acute patientsSpecially designed behavioral health safe roomsCare for patients across the lifespan with a wide range of medical emergenciesDesignated Chest Pain Center and Certified Advanced Primary Stroke CenterSovah Health – Danville is also an academic teaching site, supporting the education and professional growth of residents, medical students, nurses, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, and physician assistants.Here, your voice matters—and your work directly improves patient outcomes and the health of our community.How you'll contribute:Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care activities.Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family.Assists patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial/spiritual support needs.Evaluates patient and family learning needs and provides appropriate education based on age, culture, condition, and circumstances.Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.Provides quality patient care and works flexible shifts or units as needed.Why Join UsWe believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care. Provides for personal care, comfort and assists with safe, clean environment, maintains equipment and supplies.
