Job Title : DevOps Engineer & Automation

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Automation & DevOps Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in API/UI automation, DevOps, cloud infrastructure, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), containers, and CI/CD .

You will work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to improve automation, reliability, scalability, and software delivery across high-availability environments.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop automated API test frameworks for REST, GraphQL, and gRPC services.

Build and maintain UI automation for functional, cross-browser, and responsive testing.

Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines with reporting, quality gates, and test-result management.

Develop automation frameworks for testing, deployment, and infrastructure provisioning.

Automate repetitive operational processes using Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, Bash, or Go .

Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.

Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions .

Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes .

Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk, or Datadog .

Support and optimize AWS, Azure, or GCP infrastructure for performance, scalability, cost, and security.

Implement contract testing and service virtualization where required.

Support DevSecOps practices by incorporating security and compliance checks into pipelines.

Required Skills

Experience in DevOps, Test Automation, Software Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering .

Strong programming/scripting experience with Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, Bash, or Go .

Hands-on experience with API automation using REST Assured, Postman/Newman, Karate, or Pytest.

Strong experience with UI automation using Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.

Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.

Strong knowledge of Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation .

Experience with Docker and Kubernetes .

Working experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP .

Strong understanding of Git, DevOps, automation, testing, and software delivery practices .

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Pact or other contract-testing frameworks .

Experience with Cucumber, SpecFlow, or other BDD frameworks .

Experience with Applitools or Percy for visual regression testing.

Knowledge of DevSecOps and security scanning tools .

Experience with large-scale, distributed, and highly available systems.

Experience in telecommunications, media, broadband, or related industries .

Relevant certifications such as AWS DevOps Engineer, CKA, or Azure DevOps Expert .
