Obstetrician/Gynecologist

We are seeking a dedicated Physician specializing in Obstetrics/Gynecology for an in-house locum tenens assignment in Maryland, starting Dec 2, 2024. This 3-day assignment involves providing 12-hour or 24-hour shifts, primarily covering labor and delivery, with some gynecology cases, including nights and weekends. Join us to provide exceptional care in a collaborative inpatient environment. Practice Info EMR: Cerner Setting: Inpatient Facility handles over 2000 deliveries annually. Staffing Mix: Work alongside one other permanent Physician and Certified Nurse Midwives (two on weekday shifts, one on weekend days, one on weekend nights). Responsibilities Provide 12-hour or 24-hour in-house coverage. Manage a patient caseload, with approximately 95% focusing on labor and delivery and 5% on gynecology. Perform deliveries and C-sections as needed. Provide consistent availability for long-term engagement, ideally covering 15-20 12-hour shifts per month. Cover night and weekend shifts, with potential for some day shifts.
