Same-day appointments are available for sick kids, and an after-hours nurse phone line is available when you need immediate care assistance. Many of our services are available via telehealth (video visits) to save you time and reduce the need to bring your child into the clinic./ppPosition highlights:/pulliConveniently located near public transportation/liliMake a difference for the patients and employees we serve/liliOpportunity to provide career growth/li/ulpPrimary job responsibilities:/pulliRoom patients, take vital signs, and reconcile records/liliPerform injections/liliPrepare and clean exam rooms/liliSubmit medication prior authorizations/liliRecognize symptoms of common medical illnesses and accurately report to provider/liliAct as a liaison between patient, patients family and providers/liliAssist provider with procedures and medical exams/liliPerform point of care testing and report abnormal laboratory values/liliAssist in transporting patients as required/li/ulpRequirements:/pulliCompletion of a Medical Assistant course accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) or other recognized regional or national accreditation board OR equivalent/liliMust be Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified or achieve this designation within 6-months of hire.
